Low Impact Ant Control Research

UC Riverside urban entomology researchers Dr. Dong-Hwan Choe, Dr. Chow-Yang Lee, and Dr. Michael Rust from the Department of Entomology are working together with pest control industry product manufacturers and pest control management companies to test commercially available products for ant control. The purpose of their research is to reduce the amount of pesticide applications to control ant populations that affect residential and commercial areas, by utilizing safer environmentally friendly integrated pest management programs.
